Mikaela’s Heartwarming Paper

When my daughter Mikaela was 10 years old, she was given an assignment at school. She had to write paper explaining what she would do if she were given a piece of land. When I read the paper, for which she received an “A,” I couldn’t contain my emotions. I realized just how kind-hearted this child was. I loved her paper. I was so proud. Mothers Day Flowers

My daughter Delanie made this picture for me last year for Mother’s Day. She was in first grade at the time and I couldn’t help marveling at the details and colors.

I went to Target and bought this simple frame and hung the picture up in my bedroom so it’s one of the first things I see in the morning. It never fails to put a smile on my face. ~ME

Connor's Monkey Picture

One of my Favorite Gifts Ever!

I have always had an obsession with Monkeys. I love to collect different monkey items. Things like lamps, statues, and business card holders. Well, a couple of years ago while my obsession was in full swing, my son Connor (11 years old) painted this picture for me.

He did not do it as a school project. He did it in the privacy of his own room, of his own volition and presented it to me on my birthday. Looking at this picture reminds me of all the reasons why I love that kid so much. ~ME

The next pieces have been submitted by Lacy Arnold, the proud mother of Sophie and Savannah Arnold
