Today’s audio diary is called Money for Good.

There’s a very large debate if you should pay your children money when they come home with good grades. I, for one, am totally against this. I believe that’s what our kids are going to school for, to learn and if they’re learning they’re getting good grades. So I’m not in favor of that.

But if you are in favor of incentivizing your children for good grades, what about this: what if you have your child pick a charity and let them learn about that charity. That every time they came home with an A or a B, the money that they earned went to that charity. This way, not only are they working hard towards good grades, they’re learning to help others.
